Do you know?

February 5th, 2010

Second comic of the week. Still with Ak and Charlie, but now getting back to the problem with Jeremy and the Shepherdess. Oh, also: look for the first Gay Ninja limited series starting in the next couple of months or so... So anywho, I bought Batman: Arkham Asylum this week. I don't think I'm especially good at it. But it is a pretty cool game. I love what they've done with it. Between that and Dragon Age, I think (hope) I should be pretty well set until Final Fantasy XIII gets here... At that point... Well, I think we're probably gonna have to institute March Mildness again this year, 'cuz I'm going to be a Final Fantasy zombie for a little while. I promise there will still be activity on the site in March... just... you know... probably even less than usual...

Only two comics this week after all. The first, of course, goes into the explanation regarding last week's surprising and twisted revelation. Hopefully, it makes some amount of sense to somebody other than me. I suppose if it doesn't, then feel free to call B.S. But either way, just roll with it. I had a great new idea for AoA the other day. Or possibly, I remembered an idea that I had forgotten. If that's the case, though, I wrote it down this time. I'm excited about it. Anywho, guess I should go. See you back here for another comic on Friday, I hope!

I've no doubt that today's comic will leave you with many, many questions... But have faith: the first comic of next week should answer many of those questions... Or at least it will attempt to. As you might be able to tell once you read today's comic, the topic will probably be just a bit confusing... But anyway, I'm kind of proud of this latest plot-twist. I've been building to it for quite some time, and per usual, there has actually been some subtle foreshadowing, and at least one point where I somewhat plainly stated what was going on, though I did it in a way that I doubt if anyone could have picked up on it. But really... It's a weird, little comic, isn't it? :) See you back here next week, when I'll have some 'splaining to do...

Hello, hello, hello. I hope you liked the big double-sized AoA #200! I'll have to apologize to those of you who are big Jeremy-fans, because it's going to be a little while before we see him again. I decided things have been centered around Jeremy a bit too much lately, so we're going to take a break from the big guy. The next twenty-five or so comics are mostly the Ak and Charlie show, starting with today's: AoA #201. Also, I hope you like text-driven comics, because there's quite a lot of confusing information to translate soon, in order to explain some stuff. I'll try to be as amusing as possible while communicating it though. There are a lot of story-threads that need to be picked up, so in case you've forgotten some stuff, I would recommend refreshing yourself on Sindy's pregnancy, the stealing of Ak's goggles, and not quite yet but while you're at it, you might remind yourself of the goings-on of Duncan, because while that may seem like a whole lot of silly shenanigans, I assure you: it's going somewhere. Actually, I'm thinking about constructing some nice recaps for those in need of a little help stringing together pertinent information (I know I have a tendency to grow these stories over time and jump around a lot between them, so I understand that it can be hard to keep track of all the different plot-lines at the same time). Also, from now on: AoA is going to be a tad bit bigger than usual. I got tired of cutting out half of what I had drawn and struggling to fit all the words in the spaces. Hopefully, the extra space will help with that. And finally, we are INDEED back to two-comics-a-week. You'll get your next AoA fix on Friday. (And no promises, but next week will probably bring three new comics your way!) Hope you're psyched. I know I am. See you back here on Friday for AoA #202!
