I HOPE that today's Gay Ninja is funny. It kinda made me giggle as I was writing it. But as I spent those long hours working on it (it really does take a long time), I started to worry it wasn't as funny as I thought it was, and was offensive instead. That's not really my aim. So... I leave you with this: "If we shadows have offended, think but this, and all is mended, that you have but slumbered here while these visions did appear." Or something... Why did I just quote Shakespeare...? I really shouldn't try to write these things at five in the morning...

The Gay Ninja comics are proving to be a tougher feat than I really gave them credit for. But the second is finally done and online. I'm working on the third. Hopefully I'll be able to get it done this week too. We'll see. Check back later in the week, and there may be something new up. Also still working on the pages, but it's coming along.

Steve's fault. 'Nuff said. New AoA online now. I know its not the most exciting AoA ever, but necessary for story-progression. The next one is better, in my opinion, as is the one after that, and the two after that are decidedly exciting and shocking, albeit having to do with some of the second or even third-tier characters (it will be an exciting new development in one of our slower-progressing storylines). More on that in the weeks to come. In the meantime, I'll be focusing a bit more on The Gay Ninja this month. The second installment will FINALLY be online this week, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER... Lord willing... Next week will have the third installment, and HOPEFULLY even the fourth as well... Be back later this week for Gay Ninja #2!

Unsurprisingly, I'm running late on things again. I thought I would get more done on Monday, but then there was this whole tornado panic, and the whole night just went pear-shaped. Still working on the second installment of the Gay Ninja. Hope to have it up soon. For now, here's what I hope you find to be a very funny AoA.

Due to complications, the next new Gay Ninja won't be online until next week, but it shouldn't be any later than that. There's a new AoA up now, and the next should be up either tomorrow, Saturday, or Monday at the latest.

For some reason, it was really hard finishing the latest comic and getting it online... But I was determined to get at least one of the comics up this week... So having started on The Gay Ninja, and realizing how much work it's going to be (each installment of the Gay Ninja so far is about twice the length of a regular installment of AoA), I think it's going to take not just May, but June as well to release the whole limited series. But I'm going to do my best to make sure that they all get done (along with your regular doses of new AoA) in time so that it doesn't stretch out further than that. Anyway, my brain's bound to quit on me at any moment now, so... Later!

Thanks, commercial-that-I-don't-even-know-what-it-was-for... Now, I have a song from Willy Wonka in my head... So there's only one comic this week. It's for a good reason, though. I'm working on the website, trying to make it better and cooler and... stuff like that... Also, and more importantly, working on new content. May is going to be the month for The Gay Ninja. The first Gay Ninja limited series will premiere May 1st, and then the series will play out throughout the month. So... that's what's going on. Actually succeeded in getting all the promised comics done this week! Hooray! It's been awhile since that happened... which is obviously Steve's fault... I haven't had the best week, though it's hard to explain why... Seems to be getting better though. It's a shame I have to go back to work tomorrow and ruin it all... Oh well... One comic down, and the other one is actually mostly finished already too... And that's not even an early April Fools joke... The second comic should be up on Friday! I wasn't so sure I was going to get two comics done this week. I was over halfway through my workday on Monday and only just finishing the artwork for the first, and the second was looking so daunting all of a sudden... But I persevered and got it done with a quarter of an hour to spare before work was over! Yes, I know: I rock! For that matter, not even the dialogue is taking so long on these comics, 'cuz they're not overly wordy... for once... Anyway, be back for the second comic Friday , please!

I do still fully intend to have another new comic up tomorrow... Although my mood has been kinda coming and going like the tide this week, so... maybe don't hold your breath... But another new one SHOULD be up tomorrow. Look for it. In the meantime, enjoy today's new comic please.

The "getting two comics done and up" this week is not looking good. NOT, however, because I've been spending all my time playing Final Fantasy XIII instead of working... I wish SO MUCH that that was the reason... But it's not... I've been working hard trying to clear my former closet of all the stuff that was filling it... And if that doesn't sound like that hard a task, then that just shows what you know... You know how in cartoons people open closets and all this junk falls out, even more than would seem could possibly fit in there...? I assure you: all that can fit in there, and more! I never knew I had so much clothes, but I dragged out no less than a dozen bags filled with clothes; I'm not even sure where it all came from. I filled five or so trash bags with trash. Several boxes of junk... And it's still not done... Sigh... It's a nightmare... Should be better next week, though... Anyway, new comic today, and I do still expect to at least put the children's book on the site too sometime in the next couple days!

So I wanted to get on here and basically apologize for there being no new comics the past couple weeks. I'm sorry about that. Moving was such an ordeal (and I'm still in the process of trickling things over here too...) and then there was birthday fun and homework, and... Well, besides: it's March Mildness! YDK's sometimes-observed tradition of March being a month where I'm actually SUPPOSED to get to slack off! I still feel bad though, and to make up for it: next week, not only will you be getting two brand new comics, but you'll also get to see what else was keeping me from the site this week! I've got a children's book to show you! Plus: LoA chapters! All that next week! For reals this time! See you then!

I'm happy to announce that AoA and LoA now have Facebook fan pages. There will soon be links to those on the pages, but until then, you can just click on either of those right there to get to them. Please join! Speaking of LoA, I'm officially declaring that I MUST finish writing LoA this year, and if I fail, I am going to do... something... I'm currently taking suggestions on what humiliation I shall have to endure if I fail to complete this task. Also, the forums are being completely rebuilt. This unfortunately means that everything that the forums were has been deleted, but I hope you'll rejoin and help us build a new place for the forums. I'll be trying to work on getting it back to its former splendor as I have time. So please join that too in addition to the Facebook fan pages (there should soon also be pages for other ydk features, but I figured I'd start with the two I'm mostly working on at the moment).
